I have this same issue. I have a gigabyte EX58-UD3LR motherboard and when I upgraded from Vista 64 bit to windows 7 64 bit, the internet wouldn't work. So I used my laptop to download the driver for windows 7 64 bit and installed it on my other computer(the one with the issues). And now my network icon at the bottom doesn't have an X and looks as though it is connected to the internet but when I try to use the internet it doesn't work at all. Skype is the only thing that connects.

Not even Internet Explorerconnects. So I wanted to know if there were any other known issues for this and if so are there any solutions other than to put vista back on my computer.
