Es Caliu Ibiza
A fantastic and authentic place. Carries the spirit of chiringuito from aguas blancas into the garden of es caliu.
Restaurant Es Caliu, Ibiza Restaurants, Get recommendations, browse photos and reviews from real travelers and verified travel experts. Es Caliu serves traditional Ibizan cuisine with an innovative twist. Thoughtfully sourced meats cooked over wood fire are undoubtedly the stars of the show, but the selection of salads - assembled with ingredients from the on-site garden are decent accompaniments.
The meat is amazing due to three different kinds of wood beeing burned at the traditional grill. The vegetables are the best you can imagine. And the fish is grilled to the spot. While having a drink at the bar which is a remake of the bar at aguas blanca you see the tasteful illumination during sunset done by the famous pascual who is the creative 3rd generation candle cheographer of ibiza. What a wonderful place this is. We were a party of 11 at an end of holiday meal. The service was fantastic, the staff were the most sweet and friendly people I have come across in a restaurant.
We were a group of foodies, teenagers, kids and vegans. They catered for us all with no problem. We sat in the garden, which was lit up beautifully, making it feel quite magical. The produce was fresh and bought from a small allotment next door. How fresh is that. I would love to go here again. My only regret is that we discovered it at the end of our holiday.
It's definitely worth the taxi ride or a short car journey from Sta Eularia. Thank you to all the staff for looking after our family. We all wish you well.
Here's where the gang will be partying on the Balearic island
This summer, Made in Chelsea is heading to Ibiza.
Judging from their Instagram accounts, Frankie Gaff, Georgia Toffolo, Alex Mytton, Jamie Laing et al will be stripping off and causing mayhem in the island’s coolest hangouts.
Here’s how to follow in their footsteps…
1. Es Caliu
This romantic restaurant is in Santa Eularia, a beautiful town on the island’s southeast coast. This is where the Made in Chelsea crew hung out for most of their holiday. Es Caliu serves traditional Ibizan cuisine with an innovative twist. There’s also a Cocktail Garden, where you can sip your margarita surrounded by funkily lit fruit trees.
2. Babylon Beach Bar
Don’t let the basic website put you off: this chic cantina is right on the beach and open all day. You can dine al fresco on the terrace or order a cocktail while stretched out on one of the sunbeds. It’s a popular spot so it’s best to reserve.
3. ME Ibiza
Need a hotel where you can park your yacht? Me Ibiza is the place for you. It’s tucked away in a secluded bay near Santa Eularia and the rooms are as luxurious as you’d expect for £250-plus per night. But best thing about it is the rooftop bar, which boasts panoramic views and a pool. Sap hybris cmsrestrictionevaluator.

4. SeaSoul Restaurant & Beach Club
More stunning sea views, more sunbeds, more good food and even better cocktails. SeaSoul Beach Club is located at the Hotel Iberostar in Santa Eularia. It’s not got as much personality at Babylon Beach Bar but is popular for its laidback atmosphere.
5. Cotton Beach Club
This is the place to come for a sundowner. This all-white restaurant perches atop a cliff above a beautiful sandy bay, Cala Tarida, on Ibiza’s southwest coast.
Made in Chelsea: Ibiza is on E4 on Mondays at 9pm
